The Trust Team.
Visible. Independent. Accountable.
Anonymity protects reporters. But trust only comes from people who visibly stand behind the process.
The CtxWhisper Trust Team is publicly named, independent from the event organizer, and has clearly defined responsibilities. No report disappears. Every one is handled.
"We are the trust team of the Context X ecosystem. We ensure that every report is taken seriously, handled fairly, and closed transparently — without compromising the reporter's anonymity."
— Charter of the CtxWhisper Trust Team
Our Principles
Transparency
The team is publicly named. Processes are documented. Quarterly reports show what was reported and decided — anonymized.
Confidentiality
Reporter identity is technically protected. Team members have a duty of confidentiality. Internal communication stays internal.
Fairness
Both sides are heard. No automatism. Decisions are reasoned and traceable.
Independence
The trust team is organizationally separate from the event team and sponsors. No conflicts of interest.
SLA Commitment
Defined deadlines: 48h acknowledgment, 7d moderator decision, 21d final outcome. Non-optional.
Iteration
Every report is a learning opportunity. Processes are reviewed and improved every six months. Community feedback welcome.
Team Structure
Four roles, clearly separated, with defined responsibilities and escalation paths.
- First contact for new reports
- Categorization and prioritization
- Close simple cases independently
- Escalate to Ombud when unclear
- Independent mediation in conflicts
- Take over escalated cases
- Hear both parties neutrally
- Develop resolution proposals
- Final decision in critical cases
- Enact policy changes
- Approve community reports
- Handle complaints against moderators/ombud
- Independent process auditing
- Write quarterly reports
- Publish anonymized statistics
- No access to report content

What happens after a report?
Reference number generated. No identity stored. No IP log.
Initial assessment, categorization. Reporter can optionally add details.
Moderator closes case or escalates to Ombudsperson. Reporter receives status update.
All cases closed. Ethics Board decides on policy consequences.
Anonymized report: number of reports, categories, decisions, trends. Public.
